Week 6

LAST DAYS OF MY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

Week 6

This week was very fun because this week, we had our immersion in the HRM building in St. Michael’s College main. We baked cakes and we really learned a lot. The experience that we had is really unforgettable. It is because last week, our immersion teacher told us to bring apron and hair net. And then guess what, the immersion day came, we forgot to bring our aprons. My classmate and I searched for aprons everywhere near the HRM building in hopes that we are going to get inside the building on time. We should’ve just got in but our teacher said that if we do not have aprons and hair nets, we are not allowed to go inside so we were really pressured. Because of the pressure, my fat brain thought “why not buy an Eco-bag? Cut it and use it as an apron.” It because at that time, we already bought hair nets so the only thing that we lack is apron. When I told my classmate my idea, he laughed and he agreed. I mean, it’s a pretty good idea. It is still wearable. So we bought the Eco-bags and borrowed scissors from the owner of the store and done. We brought it inside proudly. Little did I know my other classmates outside looking for aprons just like us, overheard my idea. They were laughing and our teacher made us wear our DIY apron. We looked silly and they were laughing hard at us. They took pictures. But guess what, in the end, the teacher said we still have a lot of time that the teacher from the HRM building that would handle us was still far away. She said we should look for a “real” apron. Man, it felt like my world and my classmate’s world broke into pieces. After all those pressure, after all those genius and at the same time silly invention that we invented, it was all for nothing? Man, it feels kind of sad. Though, what’s more important is that we had fun and my classmate and I made the class laugh. Anyways, I guess this is going to be my last blog. Thank you for reading and have a great week ahead. God bless!
