Week 1

LAST DAYS OF MY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

Week 1

So guys welcome to my weekly blog. I am not very good in writing nor expressing my self through writing so please bear with me hahaha. This week, for me, was just a plain simple week. Nothing special happened. It’s just like any other week where every school days, I wake up very early in the morning to be able to go to school at 7 AM because fun fact, your boy right here takes about almost 2 hours to take a bath (no kidding). So that is why I wake up very early. Nothing’s really happening inside the bathroom though. Just me watching memes while trying to take a dump. I can say memes really kills time. Though sometimes (if not almost always) I am being held in our school’s parking lot because I go inside the school for like 7:20 AM. I don’t know, maybe a 3-hour preparation time for me to go to school would just be adequate. So anyway, after class, I just head straight home, and repeat. Every single day. Man, I just hope something really good’s going to happen to me. Also, to you as well, the one reading this. Thank you for taking some time in reading this cringe blog. Have a great week ahead!

Week 6

LAST DAYS OF MY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

Week 6

This week was very fun because this week, we had our immersion in the HRM building in St. Michael’s College main. We baked cakes and we really learned a lot. The experience that we had is really unforgettable. It is because last week, our immersion teacher told us to bring apron and hair net. And then guess what, the immersion day came, we forgot to bring our aprons. My classmate and I searched for aprons everywhere near the HRM building in hopes that we are going to get inside the building on time. We should’ve just got in but our teacher said that if we do not have aprons and hair nets, we are not allowed to go inside so we were really pressured. Because of the pressure, my fat brain thought “why not buy an Eco-bag? Cut it and use it as an apron.” It because at that time, we already bought hair nets so the only thing that we lack is apron. When I told my classmate my idea, he laughed and he agreed. I mean, it’s a pretty good idea. It is still wearable. So we bought the Eco-bags and borrowed scissors from the owner of the store and done. We brought it inside proudly. Little did I know my other classmates outside looking for aprons just like us, overheard my idea. They were laughing and our teacher made us wear our DIY apron. We looked silly and they were laughing hard at us. They took pictures. But guess what, in the end, the teacher said we still have a lot of time that the teacher from the HRM building that would handle us was still far away. She said we should look for a “real” apron. Man, it felt like my world and my classmate’s world broke into pieces. After all those pressure, after all those genius and at the same time silly invention that we invented, it was all for nothing? Man, it feels kind of sad. Though, what’s more important is that we had fun and my classmate and I made the class laugh. Anyways, I guess this is going to be my last blog. Thank you for reading and have a great week ahead. God bless!

Week 5

Ecocentrism

Last Tuesday, ma’am Demzen gave us a lesson regarding with the ethical issues in relation to the natural environment. There was a quote by Kentraro Matsuura, which I do not agree fully. He said “We can constantly make new things but we can’t make a new world”. Literally, I don’t think we could make a new world. I mean, only space itself can do that naturally but, If we are talking about making a new world by finding another planet to live in, I think it is very possible. In fact, there are billions of earth-like planets in the Milky Way galaxy alone that are located in each of their star’s goldilock’s zone just like earth is located in the sun’s goldilock’s zone or the habitable zone. The habitable zone of a star is the place where it is not very near to the star, neither very close. It is the place where liquid water do not get frozen nor evaporate. And as we know, water is the very essential part a planet should have which makes it possible to harbor life. So anyways, so much for that, Ecocentrism is one of the environmental ethics that I really like the most, and the one that I find the most morally correct among all. It is because in Ecocentrism, it focuses on the interests of all species and natural features of Earth’s ecosystems, refusing to place any aspect or species above the others. We are just equal to all life forms in this world. Also, we should always take care of our mother earth. It is because we are also just equally valuable as our mother earth. Also, if we do not take care of it, future generations will suffer. Soon, if what we are currently doing still happens in the future, the future generation would not be able to breathe the fresh air that we are breathing right now. I think that it is very sad and most probably, in years time, the destruction of our planet will probably occur because of our greed and hunger for the things in this world.

Week 4

LAST DAYS OF MY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

WEEK 4

This week was really good to me. There were lots of things that happened this week. We had our class pictorial, graduation pictorial, and we went to the SMC mini hotel for a seminar and tour to the hotel. I have learned a lot of things from the speakers. A speaker from the seminar said something that really is unforgettable for me. He said, “Intelligence is just an add-on for you. What matters the most is your personality”. Although I already know and understand those words, every time I hear it, it feels like it’s very new to my ears. As if I haven’t heard those words before. I know, most people have probably heard those words but as what I have observed, most people still do not get and understand what those words meant. Not much has happened to me this week. This week was just good to me. Not only I was reminded, but also, my eyes were opened and my mind was widened.

Week 3

LAST DAYS OF MY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

                             WEEK 3

This week was just a chill week for us because the teachers didn’t give us work that’s hard to do. We only had discussions and some of our teachers let us watch movies for us to relax and enjoy since our exams were just last week. You know, the “chillax mode” that the lovely teachers usually give to the students after the exam because why not? They were just like us back in the day. They know the feeling of being a student. Hehe, kidding aside, they’re the best. On Thursday, I wasn’t feeling well and I was not in my usual mood and, I just napped the whole day. Though in the last period of the morning, I woke up and did what Mrs. Monsanto told us to do and then I was surprised, because when I woke up, I was back in my usual mood. I don’t know the reason though, maybe it was really the nap. The following day, Friday, I wasn’t able to go to school because I had colds and cough. I was like a rotten eggplant, lying on my bed, got nothing to do, worrying that I might fail since I wasn’t able to take the removal exam in our Business Finance. I really wanted to go to school but I was afraid I might have corona virus and I might spread it to the class. Just kidding! But, kidding aside though (again) this damned virus sure is scary. Like, man, it’s already in the Philippines and that doesn’t sound like a good news. But, I saw an article that said that alcohol can treat the virus though so the virus doesn’t look like a very bad news either. We’ll just drink and we’ll be fine. Haha! Kidding aside, stay safe, wear face mask in crowded areas and you know, if possible, just avoid the crowd. Always wash your hands and pray that this virus will soon be eradicated.

Week 2

LAST DAYS OF MY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL LIFE

Week 2

This week was very stressful. There were certain paper works my group mates weren’t able to do and I was the one who did it even though it wasn’t that hard to do. I mean, they did do it but it was horrible and it wasn’t right. If you’d look at it, you’d see that it was rushed and I don’t like work that is rushed. This week, we had our exams, Thursday and Friday. I did not study and I did not prepare for it like I usually do. I just used my stock knowledge just as what I have been doing all my life being a student. Though, this week may have been stressful, it wasn’t really all stressful and negative. It is because this week, I was able to go the city, riding my motorcycle with my mother as my back ride for the first time. It was a little boring though because we had many stop overs because my mother bought things. It was tiring but it was worth it. I am so happy because I am not afraid of riding through the city alone anymore. By the way, I am still a newbie in driving and after the ride, it felt like I was a newbie no more.
